Seniors To Be Exposed To Vision Care Message
The Vision Council of America (VCA) and AARP announced a partnership recently to educate seniors about the importance of
regular vision care. The centerpiece of this partnership will be a Public Service Announcement (PSA) campaign promoting the
benefits of annual eye exams for those over 40. Transitions is further aiding in this cause by releasing a new brochure –
“Adult Eyes” providing information and statistics on types of visual problems that occur at different stages of
adulthood. It is estimated that 6 million Americans, over the age of 40, have uncorrected visual impairments.
