Mildred Bayer Grand Re-Opening – A Gala Affair
On the evening of Wednesday, November 15th, many of the area’s ECPs joined members of Toledo Optical, along with the
staff of the Mildred Bayer Clinic for an exciting Grand Re-Opening celebration.
Since its inception in 1984, the Mildred Bayer Clinic with the help of the optometric community has served the needs of those
less fortunate by providing quality eye health services and glasses when needed.
During the ceremony, which was designed to increase awareness of the clinic, Richard Langford, the clinic director, offered some
historical perspective as well as his vision for the future. Dr. John Kruszewski presented his personal experience, being
involved with the clinic, and the great sense of pride that is the very embodiment of volunteerism.
Dr. Mile Brujic, Zone 11 Governor, also spoke and passionately encouraged the entire eyecare community to increase their
involvement with the Mildred Bayer Clinic. Dr. Brujic committed Zone 11 and its membership to embrace this cause and further
insure that no one in need, will ever go without.
We would like to thank Dr. John Kruszewski, Dr. Angela Jackson, Richard Langford and the current core of volunteering
optometrists for their tireless commitment to this project and for selflessly caring for those in their community.
