ASPHERIC LENS
Aspheric lenses are a fast growing
segment of premium lenses. Toledo Optical stocks a wide
variety of aspheric lenses. Check our lens department
for the best aspheric lens for your patient's prescription.
Aspheric lenses provide a more natural look because the lenses
sit closer to the eye (the result of flatter curves).
This produces less magnification for plus lenses and less
of the "small eyes" look associated with strong
minus lenses. Aspheric lenses are slimmer and protrude
forward less from the frame. Their slimmer profile means
less mass and, as a result, less weight. Weight reduction
from an aspheric design can make a remarkable difference in
wearing comfort.
